The official teaser trailer for "Deadpool 3" has been released, much to the delight of fans worldwide. The trailer, which premiered during the 2024 Super Bowl, features the return of Ryan Reynolds as the irreverent and witty Deadpool. But the biggest surprise in the trailer is the return of Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, reprising his iconic role from the "X-Men" franchise.
The trailer begins with Deadpool lamenting his lack of a happy ending, prompting him to visit a time-traveling machine. However, things don't go as planned, and he ends up in various alternate timelines, including one where he accidentally kills Bambi. Eventually, Deadpool makes it to the present and recruits Wolverine to help him correct his mistakes.
The trailer is full of the trademark Deadpool humor, including plenty of fourth-wall breaking and self-referential jokes. It also teases some of the action-packed sequences that fans can expect in the film, such as a fight scene between Deadpool and Wolverine in a bar.
The release date for "Deadpool 3" is set for July 26, 2024. The film is directed by Shawn Levy ("Free Guy") and written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick ("Deadpool," "Zombieland").
