Cobra Kai Returns for Its Epic Finale
A Final Season of Martial Arts, Comedy, and Drama
Prepare for the Biggest Season Yet
Executive producers Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz, and Hayden Schlossberg have announced that Cobra Kai, the hit martial arts comedy-drama series, will be returning for a sixth and final season on Netflix. In a letter to fans, the producers teased that this season will be the "biggest" yet.
Cobra Kai is a sequel to the original The Karate Kid films, and it follows the rivalry between Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) and Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka). The series has been praised for its humor, action, and nostalgia, and it has become one of the most popular shows on Netflix.
In the upcoming season, Daniel and Johnny will reignite their old West Valley rivalries. Thirty-four years after the events of the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament, Johnny seeks redemption by reopening the infamous Cobra Kai dojo. Meanwhile, Daniel is determined to stop him, and the two will once again clash in an epic battle for the soul of karate.
